I approached Josh to help gain confidence with my lifting, and since January 2020 he has been coaching me 1-1 on the various lifts. He really broke down the movements and we took each week as building on the last. Whenever I struggled with technique, Josh scaled it back again and really personalised ways that worked for  me, always with a little good humoured banter thrown in. He knows when to push me – usually before I know – and when I nailed a lift, I’m not sure who was happier – him or me!  With the 1-1 Olympic lifting coaching, he’s really helped increase my confidence with the complex techniques. Just recently I asked him to start doing me a weekly programme to complement our 1-1 sessions, to give me focused goals and measurable progression each week. Can’t wait to ramp up the training when gyms open again!

Most frequent questions and answers

How often you’ll train will depend on the program you’ve signed up for and other factors such as your ability. Online and Hybrid offer between 3-6 sessions per week, but are tailored just for you. Josh will work with you to understand your targets and what you want to achieve and develop a program that fits right for you. SCP is 8 sessions per week across 6 days. 

Nutritional coaching is an additional extra for programs.If you want additional support for this, chat with Josh to see how he can help you. Remember, nutrition is a big aspect for training and should be considered when picking a plan. 

Our programs are designed for all levels of athletes, whether you’re brand new or an elite CrossFitter, we’ve the building blocks to get you started or help you reach new levels of competitiveness. 

If you’re ready to get started and want to do either personal training or online training in Edinburgh, simply choose your program, and contact Josh. From there, Josh will have an initial consultation with you to make you your targets have been set. 

We don’t offer classes, but you can take part in group training with another person. Held at The PT Hub, Josh provides coaching for 2 people who can share the cost of the training session.

We offer a range of different programs, helping you reach your fitness targets.  Online programs if you’d like to work out without personal training sessions, and hybrid programs if you’d like a little more support face to face.
